Tennessee's deepest sinkhole Big Sink
You can mouse over the two 10m DEM grid elements in the map above to see the low point (1427.53') in Big Sink and the "least upper bound" of 1688.93', yielding a depth of 261.4' for Tennessee's deepest sinkhole.

In 2013, Chuck Sutherland used ArcMap with Spatial Analyst to characterize Tennessee's sinkholes using 10m DEM data. ArcMap confirmed that this is Tenneessee's deepest sinkhole with a depth of 260.5'. TN 2017 LiDar data reports Big Sink low point of 1426.22' at 36.039480,-85.387902 for a depth of 262.7' with spill point (1688.93') at 36.03879,-85.38542.
