*Everyone agreed that the name should be Friends of Haw Ridge Park

*Joanne reported that as of 11/30/2000, we have $374.97 in the bank account

*The first drafts of the Charter, Constitution and By-Laws were discussed

*Boyd created Membership forms

*Tom suggested we draft a management plan

*Kent suggested we, along with Highland Adventure, organize a spring mountain bike race. Tom thought the spring would be a good time for a wildflower walk. Frank is looking into getting TCWP to organize a plant walk in April

*It was brought up that we should look into getting a grant from the state for maintenance and erosion control (TEAC)

*Kent suggested having a shore clean-up event

*The Haw Ridge Adventure Race is slated for late May

*Plans for the money raised shall go to several projects next year:

1). A kiosk at the trailhead

2). Building/fixing bridges on the trail, esp. Pond trail

3). Getting trail signs and putting them up

4). Trail maintenance

*The next meeting was scheduled for Thursday, January 18, 2001 at 7:00pm
